Back up and running here. The moving went pretty smoothly, so we've got a good chunk of the house unpacked and setup, with the rest of it plus the usual range of errands and small repairs (the previous owners weren't quite religious about regular maintenance) that will keep us busy for the next couple of weeks I'm sure. Lots of Canadian Tire and Home Depot trips. While this house is probably comparable size to the Waterloo one, it's distributed quite differently, so a few creative reorganizations have been in order.
Walked over to one of the many small downtown restaurants Saturday for dinner, where they both fully understood and could easily accommodate our two sets of annoying food allergies; the food scene here is definitely going to work out better than in Waterloo.
