Kudos to Charles Jolley and the gang at Sproutit for the recent coverage of their SproutCore framework.
Of course, having Apple adopting your technology for a major service is bound to attract a bit of attention... there are one or two people on the net who seem to follow Apple news.
I like the "Cocoa for the web" meme that people seem to be applying; it's a good way of both identifying a target audience and communicating a value proposition. The tech itself at least tries to strike out in a new direction as opposed to being a "me too" like all the various Javascript libraries out there (Prototype, Jquery, etc.). How well it works I don't know (beyond the fact that there are now two very substantial production apps using it, no small feat!) but anything that continues to raise the level of abstraction for web developers is a very good thing. This is especially true if it does it in an "embrace the web", non-platform-specific way.
