We're flying out to Edmonton April 14th; one car and a bunch of boxes already there or en route, the other car and a few more boxes with essentials (i.e. espresso machine) to go out on the 13th. Fedex Ground has been our friend. Set up new home and business phone numbers out there (courtesy RingCentral) that will follow us around as needed.
I've temporarily switched back to using my old 12" Powerbook G4 more, and it's actually been not that bad at all to work on for day-to-day things. I may yet upgrade it a bit more, unless Apple does decide to release a real netbook (and I don't think I have the time/patience to put together a hackintosh from an existing netbook).
Two big shocks come from very unlikely sources: Bell and Rogers. Canceling services with them was quick and painless. Who'd have thought.
Got all the ice and water off our pool cover here and removed it so that prospective buyers can get a better sense of it. No sooner is that done then we get this weird dump of wet snow; pool now looks like a giant Slurpee.
Actually Rogers is pretty good with the cancellation thing. And they won't hassle you for any reasons why you want to leave their company.

You can always find something better. Well, sorry, and that
